The Story

I’m ex-military and a decorated soldier. I received a mention in dispatches from my second tour in Afghanistan when I saved a friend’s life after they were shot in the head by a sniper.

I was in the care system for most of my life and suffered abuse while I was there.

I was homeless for years after both of my parents and sister died young.

I have tried to commit suicide multiple times and have battled through some very dark places.

I suffered a long time with my mental health and adopted a victim mindset about all the things that happened to me, but through all this I came to realise that when you change your perspective and mindset, every trauma and struggle becomes a lesson and an opportunity to grow.

I’ve constantly struggled in relationships with attachment and abandonment issues, but learning what my trigger points are, my attachment styles and my love language, this has helped me know what I want in a partner and more importantly what I want from myself.

We are all creatures of comfort, that comes from the subconscious mind, which is the breeding ground for self-sabotage. So, once you become more conscious of your actions and what you want, you become the best version of yourself.

Now, it is my mission to not just save lives but to transform them into the best possible versions of themselves and create a bulletproof mindset.

I have created the Mental Armour Journal for you as a tool to help you take charge of your mental and physical health.

The journal and the weekly challenges are based on my coaching, while the daily prompts will help you develop better self-awareness and a better understanding of who you really are and what you want from your life.

Have an amazing day…from the Mindset Soldier
